empowering families network
Community Based Prevention Services are free services offered to families who are referred by South Carolina Department of Social Services because of issues that are creating instability in the family. We partner with nine community-based agencies to provide Community Based Prevention Services. Services are designed to help families provide a safe home for their children, promote positive parenting and link families to community resources.
Each family and member of the family is unique. SAFY of South Carolina and its provider partners take an individualized approach to help families develop the necessary skills to effectively handle challenges in school, work, and in everyday life.
SAFY of Indiana also provides the Empowering Families Program, which delivers in-home Family Preservation and Reunification services, putting families on a path to creating and maintaining a safe, healthy and sustainable environment for every member.
